Harsh Ghetia (September 19, 1930-March 29, 1995) was a Gujarati writer of the post-independence period. He was born in Khambhra village in Kachchh, and was educated at Shamaldas Gandhi College, Bhavnagar, Gujarat and later Bombay University. He authored more than fifty works, including poems, essays, Drama and fiction. He was a journalist by profession. He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1978 for his poems. He also received the Ranjitram Gold Medal, the Kabir Award (from the Madhya Pradesh Government), the Gujarati Sahitya Parishad award and the Goenka award for Journalism. He was Editor of Gujarati news Papers Janmabhoomi and Janmabhoomi-Pravasi.
